The baggage we carry into each moment is often fraught with fear and worry, confusion and struggle. In Level II we learn to see what we do to make ourselves miserable, and how to begin to free ourselves from old habits of thought and emotional patterns. We learn we can experience greater clarity, aliveness, fearlessness, and peace of mind.
In the Birth of the Warrior, we use meditation practice to observe more directly how our habitual fear and anxiety can lose its power when confronted directly, in an atmosphere of gentleness. We begin to appreciate the power and richness of the present moment.
Level II builds on the foundation of meditation practice that was introduced in Level I, The Art of Being Human.
This weekend includes individual and group meditation instruction, teachings by a visiting Shambhala senior teacher Henry Chapin, group discussions and a concluding reception.
