Adelaide Shambhala Meditation Group is a community of students and teachers, bicycle riders and artists, yoga devotees and movie buffs, elders and younger ones, and we’re all beginners on the meditation path, even those of us who have been walking it a few years!
We sit and walk in meditation together, have lively discussions about the teachings, laugh, enjoy cuppas, and care about each other.
We are all very different people, but we share a common purpose: to uncover the basic goodness that is within us and to help build a healthy, caring and just society.
We are a part of the global Shambhala community or mandala, the centre of which is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The organisational structure and responsibilities of Adelaide Shambhala Meditation are governed within the framework outlined by our global community. We operate via the guidance of a local Council.
Whether you are just simply looking to find some personal answers or if you are looking for a journey of a lifetime, you are most welcome to join us!
